The past two to three weeks have not been good for me blog-wise. Hubby has been on holidays and we're getting stuff done around the house/yard before the freakin' snow flies. We're supposed to get rain/snow tonight. Not pleased.
Currently, the wind is blowing pretty hard and it's been heavily overcast all day. It's cold, too. Mucho frio. 3 degrees Celsius with a wind chill of -3 degrees Celsius. Yuck.
Anyhoo, with all this wind, this bad boy blew into our front yard this morning:
A gigantic, mambo wasp nest. Oh yes. I was the brave one out of Trev and I, and marched out with the camera and the garden fork. I moved it to the other side of the yard, where my husband promptly booted it around like a soccer ball. This was after this wife made the conclusion that the nest was vacated.
I'll be back more next week. Full force bloggin', I tell ya!
Before I get back to work, the next two photos are for marvelous Mayra over at Life is Bananas. Mayra requested party pics from Lisa + Paul's big ol' Portuguese wedding last weekend.
This entrance, the placement of the maraca and busting out to I've Gotta Feeling and Sexy Bitch was all I could muster, as myself and many members of the wedding party had/have the flu.
Trev was feeling pretty good, though! And I luuuurve my triple chins here! Schweet!
Have a kickin' weekend!
Cheers,
a
