Breakfast and I weren't always friends. I would always use the excuse that I didn't have time for it. Then I became hypoglycemic and breakfast started to become more and more important. When I became pregnant, breakfast became a high priority and I was very careful about what I was eating, concentrating on calcium, fibre, vitamin C and folic acid.
Now I have a ritual, which includes my little Nat. We wake up, I fix a bowl of cereal (usually one of Nature's Path Organic granolas...Peanut Butter is my fave!), grab a yogurt, unsweetened apple sauce or grapes and either juice (preferably grapefruit juice). Nat normally nurses while I pack back my morning fuel.
Cheers!

Your breakfasts are way healthier than mine! Good for you! You are giving me inspiration.
I love the Kashi Go Lean Cereal - a good amount of protein to prevent the sugar spike followed by the hypoglycemic drop. The Kashi dark chocolate cherry granola bars are the bomb!
