Gettin' it done...

So, yesterday I had every intention of setting some time aside to blog. But instead, I focused entirely on organizing the mountain of paperwork and old bills that have been building since even before we moved. A while ago, I picked up some cardboard drawers @ IKEA that fit perfectly in the kitchen. They will be solely used for bills that need to be paid, bills that are paid and need to be filed, Trev's work receipts and any other things that are upcoming (wedding invites, etc.). I created a separate container (the blue one) for filing purposes. The goal is to keep it to one box and shred documents periodically. It was a particularly good day for this to get done, as it rained and it was pretty damp and chilly.

Today, the chilliness is starting to head on out! Yay! It's 10C now (and it's almost 6pm). Tomorrow is supposed to be 21C and Saturday 25C! Wow! So happy the Adirondacks are out on the porch....

I cleaned the entire house today so that I could enjoy the upcoming weather. I was successful, even organizing some drawers that badly needed it. Even though it was a productive day, I still had one of those days where ridiculous things would happen and I would grow more and more annoyed. The vaccuum kept tipping over, the huge centipede (shudder) that I saw this morning kept making run-bys all day (I finally got 'em later!), I accidentally dumped half the macaroni in the sink because I was too lazy to use a colander, I stuck my hands in the very hot running water not even thinking...have you had one of those days?
