It's no secret that I am a true, blue Canadian chick, but I am also a huge keener for other cultures and countries. I have always been jealous of American patriotism, because frankly, Canadians are proud to be Canucks, but they just don't show it. We're reluctant patriots: blase and ho-hum about our home and native land. I like to think that I am not one of the many, as I was born and bred to be thankful for great healthcare, places God forgot to finish and our multicultural society. Plus, having one grandfather in the Royal Canadian Navy for 25 years and another grandfather in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for the same amount of time, instills a sense of love for your country.
So, today's post is dedicated to the Great White North.
Laurentian Chief moccasins...my fave! Each is handmade, in Quebec. You can find them here and here.
This girly is a blogger for Toronto Street Fashion and when asked what Canadian fashion looked like, she said this was it. In the winter, pretty much.
